William C. Moyer
An Indiana University graduate, William C. Moyer earned his law degree from the University of Louisville School of Law in 1973, at which time he was admitted to practice law in Indiana. He was admitted to practice in Kentucky in 1974. For the next 15 years Mr. Moyer practiced law in Southern Indiana and Kentucky as a general practitioner providing legal assistance to individuals with a variety of needs. Since 1989 he has concentrated his practice in civil litigation with an emphasis on personal injury cases. In 1992 he was trained as a civil litigation mediator under the Alternative Dispute Resolution Rules of the Indiana Supreme Court. Since then he has been a mediator for disputing parties in more than 500 cases. In addition to being admitted to practice in the state courts of Indiana and Kentucky, Mr. Moyer also has been admitted to the federal courts of the Southern District of Indiana and Western District of Kentucky. He is also a member of the bar of the Fourth, Sixth, and Seventh Circuits of the U.S. Court of Appeals and the U.S. Claims Court. Mr. Moyer is past president of the Floyd County Bar Association and a member of the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association as well as Kentucky and Jefferson County (Kentucky) Bar Associations.
