Christopher L. King
Christopher L. King concentrates his practice in corporate/business services, commercial real estate, land use and zoning. Mr. King has represented clients before numerous judicial and administrative bodies at the local, state and federal levels throughout Indiana and Kentucky covering a variety of subject areas including, commercial collections, foreclosures, airport and airspace regulation, telecommunications law, zoning, eminent domain and land title issues. In addition, Mr. King regularly assists clients with business and real estate acquisitions, financing, development, regulatory compliance and transfers.
Originally from Hanover, Indiana, Mr. King is a graduate of Indiana University (1994) and the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville (2000). In addition, Mr. King attended the FAA Academy in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma where he completed courses on Airspace Analysis. He has authored and presented materials for Continuing Legal Education seminars pertaining to zoning and land use law. Prior to the practice of law, Mr. King served with the U.S. Army in various locations in the U.S., Europe and South America and twice graduated from the Defense Language Institute (German (1987) and Spanish (1995)) before moving to Louisville, Kentucky, where he now resides with his wife and two children.
Mr. King is admitted to practice in state and federal courts in the State of Indiana and Commonwealth of Kentucky, the Sixth Circuit of Appeals and Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals and is a member of the Kentucky, Indiana, Floyd County, and Louisville Bar Associations.
