Linda B. Lorch
Linda B. Lorch is a summa cum laude graduate of Indiana University and cum laude graduate of the Indiana University Maurer School of Law (Bloomington) in 1979. Joining her father, Basil H. Lorch, Jr., and her brother, Basil H. Lorch, III, she became a partner in the firm of Lorch & Lorch in 1979. She was also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Indiana, and served as a juvenile referee for the Floyd Circuit Court from 1979 to 1981. Ms. Lorch is a Certified Family Law Specialist by the Family Law Certification Board and a registered family law mediator. Ms. Lorch has been recognized by law and Politics Magazine as one of Indiana’s Super Lawyers for a number of years. Ms. Lorch is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association and the Indiana Supreme Court Committee on Character and Fitness. She has served as president of the Floyd County Bar Association and has been appointed by various local judges to serve as a Guardian ad Litem for children in neglect, abuse, and juvenile cases. From 1998-2005, Ms. Lorch was a Trustee for Ivy Tech State College. She also is a master of the Sherman Minton American Inn of Court and a fellow of the Indiana Bar Foundation. Ms. Lorch is a lifetime member of DePauw Memorial United Methodist Church.
